Module 2:

10. The 1st sin, habit, and exercise - Devaluing happiness

It means sacrificing happiness for the sake of other things.

Top goals: Happiness and great relationships.

Only 6% of people ask for happiness  Most people wish to get Money on their "Genie Quesion".

Sometimes, we sacrifice happiness for the sake of being right.

What's the point of eating something that you don't enjoy much?

As we've seen so far, people sacrifice happiness in a variety ofscenarios, when making food choices, when interacting with the people in theirlives, and even, when choosing something as important as a job in theirlives.

My colleagues and I call this tendency to sacrifice happiness for the sake ofother goals. The Fundamental Happiness Paradox.

The fundamental happiness paradox is prevalent.People don't want to admit thatthey have big egos and want to prove others wrong and themselves right or thatthey're money-minded.

This indicates that we devalue happiness, which is of course the first deadly happiness sin.
