现在关于计算机科学相关领域的国际会议非常多，在投文章前，大家可以先看看会议的权 威性、前几届的录用率，这样首先对自己的文章能不能中有个大概的心理底线。权威与否可以和同行的同学沟通、或者看录用文章的水平、或者自己平时阅读文献的 时候的慢慢累及。原来有人做过一个国际会议的排名，如下
http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/assourav/crank.htm。其中的很多会议我们都非常熟悉的。但是这个排名是大概2000的时候做的，后来没有更新，所以像ISWC这个会议在其中就看不到。但是很多悠久的会议上面都有的，如www,SIGIR,VLDB,EMLC,ICTAI这些等等。这些东西可以作为一个参考。
现在很多学校的同学毕业都要有检索的要求了。因此很多不在SCI，EI检索范围内的会议投了可能对毕业无用，所以投之前最好查查会议是不是被SCI，EI检索的。当然这也不绝对，如Web领域最权威的WWW的全文就只是ISTP检索，而不是SCI，EI检索的（可能是ACM出版的原因吧？）。
罗嗦了这么多！祝愿大家能在好的会议上发PAPER，能被SCI，EI检索。
