self conscious：(因顾虑自己的外表或表现)局促不安的,害羞的,不自然的

这个词组可以代替embarrassed或者shy，比如，有时候聊天时，谈到一些话题的事情会有点点尴尬，就可以说：She felt a little bit self conscious when taking about the topic  或者说：We need to steer clear of the topic, because we felt too self conscious.

How have you been? 表示近来怎么样呀？

很长时间不见时，我们常常开口第一句话时：Long time no see，其实可以以问句的方式来提问：How have you been? 需要注意的是：how have you been？的回答，不是简单的一句话Good／great来回答，而是说说最近生活的情况。

比如，好久没有见到AJ啦，周三见到他时：就可以问：How have you been?

最近常常叫nichel大哥，英文就是：big brother。查了字典后，又一次知道big brother 表示老大哥(控制人们思想行为的虚伪领导者／政府)

get-brothery and judgmental 表示摆出大哥架子来教训我。造个句子吧：I don't like you, because you always gets big-brothery and judgemental.

peek 表示偷看，固定搭配：peek at
