This year's World Cup started on June 14th in Russia. Russia will provide 12 stadiums for  top 32 soccers teams from different countries.

The following heatmap shows different stadiums in Russia. Moscow has two of them and the rest located in different cities. 

Kaliningrad Stadium:

Kaliningrad Stadium is a multi-purpose venue. As well as football matches, it will host other sporting events and concerts.

Volgograd Arena:

The stadium's façade takes the form of an inverted cone with an open lattice structure, lending the entire building a monumental solidity.

Fisht Olympic Stadium:

Fisht Olympic Stadium was originally named after Mount Fisht, a peak in the Caucasus range of mountains. 

Mordovia Arena:

The stadium has been designed in the shape of an oval. 

Saint Petersburg Stadium:

The architect's vision for Saint Petersburg Stadium was of a spaceship that has landed on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. The seven-storey building is 79 metres high. 

Spartak Stadium:

Spartak Stadium's appearance is a matter of great pride. Its façade takes the form of chain mail consisting of hundreds of little diamonds representing the Spartak logo. 

Rostov Arena :

Rostov Arena's original design blends harmoniously into the picturesque landscape. The shape of the arena's roof imitates the meanderings of the Don River. 

Samara Arena:

Samara Arena's design concept is dominated by the theme of space, as a tribute to the traditions of the region, and its renowned aerospace sector.

Luzhniki Stadium :

Work to rebuild Luzhniki Stadium for Russia 2018 began in 2013. One of the crucial aspects of the project was preserving the historical façade of the stadium, which has become one of Moscow's true landmarks. 

Nizhny Novgorod Stadium:

Nizhny Novgorod Stadium's design is inspired by aspects of nature in the Volga region - water and wind.

Kazan Arena:

Kazan Arena was designed by the same firm of architects as Wembley Stadium and Emirates Stadium in London. It has a unique design, which blends seamlessly into Kazan's urban landscape. 

Yekaterinburg Central Stadium:

The stadium retains its recognisable historical façade, although a roof and temporary stands was installed for Russia 2018.

In addition, 32 teams come from 5 Continents: Almost half of them are form Europe. Asian, South America and Africa each has 5 teams. North, Central America has 3 teams. These are the top 32.

After the multiple matchs between the top 32(by 2018/6/24), so far, now we can see each country's points, each team's goal difference and each player's goals.

Each Country's Points in Each Group's 

This sunburst chart shows that different country's score in each group(There are 8 groups totally: A-H). We can know that 6 points are the highest score at present. What's more, a team won't show up in this chart if they got 0 point in 2 matchs(There are 2 match between different countries in each group), so you can't see the country like Egypt or Saudi Arabia.

Each Team's Goal Difference

The stacked column chart shows us the goal difference of each team. If the column is over the 0 on the scale, that means this team's goal is more than their loss and vice versa.  So, according to the data, we can know that Russia is the biggest winner at present and Tunisa really lost a lot of points.

And here are the top 10 player so far( goals). Harry kane and his teammate Jhon Stones from England kicked 7 goals toally. Belgium's player Lukaku and Eden Hazard got 6 goals. 

However, one can never tell how things will go. So, there are still many surprises for fans.
