读《LURUI-Underlying Logic》

Prologue

The two famous entrepreneurs, JackMa and JianLing Wang, discussed the same business, and then argued the peer opinion based on the same underlying logic.

Their business are based on the four elements as follows:

  • the amount of customer flow.
  • the rate of transforming a customer to a buyer.
  • the price of products how much the specific buyer is willing to pay.
  • the frequency how often a buyer purchases a product.

If two men disagree with the others, they should have common knowledge about the issue. In the other words, people do not argue if they are totally different.

The cure-all equation is:

underlying logic + environment variables = methodology

Separation of Responsibility

Three Judgements

When you confront an issue, the first thing is to separate responsibility from different people who involved in the issue, by means of their roles. For example, who do we blame if a guy accidentally step down your feet? The guy, or myself? The key to answer the question is to depend on whose cost is larger than the other. If you loss more, it is your fault. It is just a conclusion about the role. In fact, there are three roles:

  • by-passers (评论家)
  • business/common person(普通人)
  • administrators (管理者)

Respectively, there are three opinions to evaluate the loss.

  • who did that wrong thing?
  • whose loss is the most from individual?
  • how do we do to avoid the issue?

Question:
A criminal (A) cheats one man (B) to enter into an open construction site that managed by a businessman(C). Unfortunately, B fall down and died.

When you face the terrible result, nothing to do can help you, including blaming, complaining, regretting. It indeed happened because everything is done that can not be changed again. Thus, you should change yourself, change your mind, and change your behavior while you predict you are the one who lost more than others.
