猫是语言学硕士，大学时读的汉语言文学专业，下面是猫在上大学时外国文学史老师分享给我们的美国诗人罗伯特的一首小诗。
猫打心眼儿里希望，每一位看到这首诗的朋友们都能够在自己所选择的道路上坚持下去，在所有人说你做不到的时候，努把力，别泄气，你要做的，是证明给自己看、证明给那些爱你的人看，更要证明给那些劝你放弃的人看，因为你知道：行人稀少的那条路将会改变你的一生。
这首《The Road Not Taken》在考研路上鼓励着猫，记得刚开始准备考研的时候，猫把自己的目标学校跟学院的辅导员、专业课老师聊了聊，猫对自己的目标院校充满了期待，那时候浑身都是劲儿，可没想到老师们似乎并不看好。可是猫坚信，只要自己踏踏实实复习，一定可以成功，最后猫真的披荆斩棘，成功上岸。

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden back.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
