优麒麟/ubuntu20.04安装VMware for linux

测试系统：优麒麟20.04 pro

一、官网下载

https://www.vmware.com/cn/products/workstation-pro/workstation-pro-evaluation.html
目前16.1版本下载的文件名称为VMware-Workstation-Full-16.1.2-17966106.x86_64.bundle，也可以根据需要下载其他版本。

二、安装VMware

切换到下载目录，右键打开终端

1.设置bundle后缀的安装包权限为可执行。

查看安装包，发现没有执行权限

root@hollowman-F117:/home/hollowman# ls -l VMware-Workstation-Full-16.1.2-17966106.x86_64.bundle 
-rwxrwxrwx 1 hollowman hollowman 527417929 6月   2 13:13  VMware-Workstation-Full-16.1.2-17966106.x86_64.bundle

切换到root用户(免去sudo的麻烦)，并修改权限为可执行

hollowman@hollowman-F117:~$ sudo su root
[sudo] hollowman 的密码： ******
root@hollowman-F117:/home/hollowman# chmod +x VMware-Workstation-Full-16.1.2-17966106.x86_64.bundle 

2.执行安装

root@hollowman-F117:/home/hollowman# ./VMware-Workstation-Full-16.1.2-17966106.x86_64.bundle 
Extracting VMware Installer...done.
Installing VMware Workstation 16.1.2
    Configuring...
[######################################################################] 100%
Installation was successful.

3.点击UK菜单，找到VMware Workstation,点击发现会缺少linux-headers-5.10.0-1029-oem组件

可以打开终端安装linux-headers-5.10.0-1029-oem组件。

root@hollowman-F117:/home/hollowman# apt install linux-headers-5.10.0-1029-oem

4.再次打开VMware Workstation即可使用了

注意：VMware-Workstation16注册码可以百度搜索。

三、卸载VMware

如果不想使用VMware了，卸载语句为vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation

hollowman@hollowman-F117:~$ sudo vmware-installer -u vmware-workstation
[sudo] hollowman 的密码：

四、使用感受

与VirtualBox相比，安装RHEL8过程中，VM比VB快；使用RHEL8系统，VM比VB流畅，VM虚拟机系统分辨率高，VB太低，还不可调；操作感受，VM可以与优麒麟共享复制粘贴功能，而VB没有；网络功能：VM入门简单，而VB太难了（至今没弄明白NAT模式下主机与VB虚拟机之间的互通）。
