Life is speeding up faster than ever before. Constant digital stimulation and rapid technological advancements mean living life in the “fast lane.”

The constant pressure to succeed and compete is causing people to move faster than ever. Many people feel stressed and overworked, with little time for friends, family or other personal interests.

The pressure to keep up is high, and it’s easy to feel like we constantly need to be doing something — whether responding to a notification or rushing from one place to another as quickly as possible.

Life is a race, right? We’re constantly trying to keep up with everything that needs to get done. Everything feels urgent, and it feels like there isn’t enough time in the day for everything we need to do. And because of this, we feel like our days are passing us by too quickly.

It’s no wonder many people feel stressed out and anxious when they think about their lives. If you often run out of time in the day, you’re not alone. Many of us feel like our days are filled with too many things to do, leaving little time to enjoy the little things in life.

But what if you could find clarity, peace, calm and sanity again?

What if you could bring back balance into your life and reduce the stressors in your life? What if you could do more of what makes you happy and bring meaning to your life?

Life moves fast — but you don’t have to. You can be intentional and deliberate and control the process of your “becoming”.

Have you ever looked back on your life and thought, “where did the time go?”

The days fly by, the responsibilities pile up, and another year has slipped away before we know it. That’s why slowing down time in life is so important. It can help us appreciate every moment and live a more intentional life.

A slower pace in life comes with many benefits — not only for our sanity but also for our wellbeing and happiness. Though it may seem counterintuitive, adding time to your day or creating more blank time on your calendar can make you happier and more productive.

“If you want energy for your brain, you need to take care of your body,” says Jake Knapp in his book, Make Time: How to Focus on What Matters Every Day.
