mindful adj.

释义：remembering a particular rule or fact and thinking about it when you are making decisions about what to do

“mindful”是形容词，意思是“记着的、留神的”，后面接介词 of 或 that 从句。当我们想表达“考虑到......”“知道或意识到......”的时候就可以用这个词。mindful 偏正式，可以在写作中使用，替换“with X in mind”和“realizing X”。

例① 考虑到路况不佳，Eric 把车速降到了每小时 20 英里

With the poor road conditions in mind, Eric reduced his speed to 20 mph.

这个时候就可以用mindful改写:

Eric was mindful of the poor road conditions and reduced his speed to 20 mph.

Eric was mindful that the road conditions were poor and reduced his speed to 20 mph.

不过，这两句话还可以写得更简洁、更优雅：

Mindful of the poor road conditions, Eric reduced his speed to 20 mph.

如果 mindful of 后面接的内容过长，则可以优先使用 mindful that...。比如：
