3.过去分词作表语时与被动语态的区别：

①“be ＋过去分词”表示状态时，是系表结构，此时分词通常已形容词化；

②表示动作时，是被动语态，且绝大多数被动结构中的动作执行者由介词by引出。

   e.g. The book is well written. (系表结构，强调主语所处的状态)

          The book was written by a soldier. (被动语态，强调主语所承受的动作)

          While waiting for the opportunity to get promoted, Henry did his best to perform his duty.

          We got a little sunburnt, but the day had been so relaxing that we didn't mind.

           For those with family members far away, the personal computer and the phone are important in staying connected．
