灵修圣经箴言

安息日蒙福平安!

人屡次受责罚,

仍然硬着颈项,

他必顷刻败坏,

无法可治。

亵慢人煽惑通城。

智慧人止息众怒。

好流人血的,

恨恶完全人。

索取正直人的性命。

人与盗贼分赃,

是恨恶自己的性命。

他听见

叫人发誓的声音,

却不言语。

求王恩的人多。

定人事乃在耶和华。

为非作歹的,

被义人憎嫌。

行事正直的,

被恶人憎恶。

(箴言 29章)Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy. (Proverbs 29:1)

By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down. (Proverbs 29:4)

Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet. (Proverbs 29:5)

The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity and seek to kill the upright. (Proverbs 29:10)

If a ruler listens to lies, all his officials become wicked. (Proverbs 29:12)

If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will be established forever. (Proverbs 29:14)

A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom, but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother. (Proverbs 29:15)

When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall. (Proverbs 29:16)

Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire. (Proverbs 29:17)

Servants cannot be corrected by mere words; though they understand, they will not respond. (Proverbs 29:19)

An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins. (Proverbs 29:22)

Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor. (Proverbs 29:23)

The accomplices of thieves are their own enemies; they are put under oath and dare not testify. (Proverbs 29:24)

Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the LORD that one gets justice. (Proverbs 29:26)

The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright. (Proverbs 29:27)
