Unit 1 Spring is coming!单元整体教学目标

General Objectives:

This unit focuses on weather and activities related to the spring season.

Students will learn to report on the weather, and discuss different topics and activities that relate to spring.

They will learn to use new words, structures, and expressions to communicate their likes and dis likes.

The grammar focus for the unit is word building.Students will review and expand on their vocabulary by identifying different kinds of words and phonetic patterns.(compound words,and consonant and vowel diagraphs.)

1. Students can provide the useful information for simple topics,  express their own opinions, and join the discussion.

2. They can be able to communicate with others,and  complete the tasks by cooperating

Reading:

1. Ss can get the general ideas by different reading stratagies.

2. Guess the meaning of some words by word-building.

3.Find out the main idea of passage, understand the plots of stories,predict the development and ending of the stories.

Writing:

1. Be able to write throuth the information they  get .

2. Use the word-building skillfully.

Learning stratagy

1. Understand the general idea by reading self.

2. Use the language knowledge that learnt in the passage.
