本公众号之前写过一些关于英语的文章：
英语不好，对 SAP 英文文档有所畏惧，该怎么办？
写作动机在于，有朋友在我的《零基础快速学习 ABAP 这套教程》的其中一篇文章里留言：
哪里不懂点哪里 F1. 可是总是对英文文档有畏惧心理，汪老师有没有啥建议呀 ？感觉想要做好这一行这一点还是挺重要的。
我当时也提到，如果条件允许，真的建议大家直接阅读 SAP 原版的英文文档。原因如下：
- SAP 原版的英文文档最为权威，而官方网站上其他语言比如中文版的帮助文档，有些是机器翻译的，咱们读起来可能觉得怪怪的，部分句子甚至不太通顺，词不达意，影响我们的理解。
- 各种 SAP 技术和产品的最新资讯，都可以在 SAP 官方社区获取，这些资讯绝大多数都是英文博客。虽然 SAP 中国研究院也有很多产品的开发团队，包括笔者在内的很多 SAP 员工也会在社区上使用中文发布博客，但是这些中文博客在 SAP 社区总共 14 万篇博客里，只占极小一部分。
随着去年 ChatGPT 等 AI 工具的兴起，很多朋友已经开始使用这些工具来辅助英文资料的阅读。
平时我也喜欢让 ChatGPT 帮忙润色自己的英文博客。在我这篇文章每日一个 ChatGPT 使用小技巧系列之3 - 利用角色扮演提高 ChatGPT 回复的质量里，我举过一个例子。
我的一篇英文博客的原文：

As many Chinese partners keep asking the details of these five cloud, I have made a little bit more explanation here.

ChatGPT 对提高孩子的英文作文水平，在中考和高考里提高作文分数，帮助也是巨大的。
关于阅读英文文档的习惯，我个人的做法是，在一些需要精读的场合，比如工作中需要阅读某个技术文档，对准确度要求非常高的情况，我会直接阅读英文原文。特别是涉及到一些编码细节，当一两个单词或者句子理解得似是而非，就会影响最后的代码编写时，我会老老实实自己去阅读。
其余的场合，比如阅读 SAP 社区博客，或是非工作场合中的技术文档阅读，资讯的获取，我会直接阅读通过工具翻译成的中文。当然这些工具不可能做到 100% 准确，因此我仍然希望翻译后的中文，有英文原文的对照。

打开 Chrome Web Store, 搜索关键字 Immersive，第一个搜索结果就是我们要找的扩展。
作为一款翻译扩展，Immersive Translate 的免费版本，已经能够满足我的所有需求。其付费版增加了基于 OpenAI 的人工智能翻译功能。
我们来试试沉浸式翻译的效果。
启用网页翻译前的原始网页：
启用自动翻译之后：机器翻译的英文紧随着原文显示，便于读者比对。
在该扩展的设置界面里，可以选择使用的翻译引擎。
可以看到，开箱即用的翻译引擎有 Microsoft Translator，Google Translate 和腾讯 Smart Translation，其他的引擎需要自己去配置 API Key，或者把该扩展的账号，升级到 Premium 付费版。
Settings 页面还能对翻译后的文字显示效果进行各种定制化，比如高亮加粗显示：
