将进酒
Bringing in the Wine

君不见，黄河之水天上来，奔流到海不复回。
君不见，高堂明镜悲白发，朝如青丝暮成雪。
Don’t you see the Yellow River comes from the heavens and rushes into the sea never coming back.
Don’t you see elderly parents sigh for their white hair when looking in the mirror ,black in the morning and white in the evening.
人生得意须尽欢，莫使金樽空对月。
We should enjoy ourselves to the utmost when proud and pleased ,and never leave the gold goblet empty to the moon.
天生我材必有用，千金散尽还复来。
I am endowed with talents for eventual use and plenty of money is sure to come again even if all is gone.
烹羊宰牛且为乐，会须一饮三百杯。
Cooking beef and mutton,we can make merry for the moment.
We should drink three hundred goblets at a time.
岑夫子，丹丘生，将进酒，杯莫停。
与君歌一曲，请君为我倾耳听。
Mr Cen and Mr Yuan,never stop drinking please.
I’d like to sing a song for you ,wishing you to listen attentively.
钟鼓馔玉不足贵，但愿长醉不复醒。
Invaluable to ring the bells and beat the drums while eating delicacies,and I wish I was too drunk to wake up.
古来圣贤皆寂寞，惟有饮者留其名。
Sages have been lonely since ancient times ,and only the drinker has left his name behind.
陈王昔时宴平乐，斗酒十千恣欢谑。
Once King Chensi gave a banquet at Ping-le Guan indulging in expensive wine.
主人何为言少钱，径须沽取对君酌。
Why do you say money is limited,my dear Host?
Don’t hesitate to purchase good wine and let’s drink together.
五花马、千金裘，呼儿将出换美酒，
与尔同销万古愁！
Why not call out the servant to trade precious horses and valuable furs for good liquor ?
I will get drunk with you and get rid of all the sorrows of all ages.

4. 岑夫子：指岑(cén)勋。丹丘生：元丹丘
5. 与君：给你们，为你们。
6. 馔（zhuàn）玉：美好的食物，形容食物精美如玉。
7. 陈王：陈思王曹植。平乐：观名，汉代富豪们的娱乐场所。
8. 恣(zì)：放纵. 谑（xuè）：玩笑。
9. 径须：干脆，只管。
10. 沽(gū)：通“酤”，买或卖。
11. 酌(zhuó)：饮酒，斟酒。
12. 五花马：指名贵的马。
13. 裘：皮衣。
