Q:Hi All,

Need a convenient, decent place that offers reliable shuttle to the Sydney airport for a 10am international flight out. Cost is not a concern really, just a plain old hotel room for one adult and two teens. As always, thanks bunches!

A:We stayed at the Holiday Inn at the airport a couple of years ago with our two teens. We had a Queen bed for us and two twin beds for the kids. It was nice and seemed to be a "step up" from the Holiday Inns in the States.
I don't know if they have a shuttle to the airport since we had a rental car to drop off at the airport. If they don't, their website says a taxi to the domestic terminal will run AUD 10.00 and AUD 15.00 to the international terminal.

I have stayed at the IBIS airport; it was quite basic (the bathroom was like a space capsule in size), but was clean, comfortable and quite sufficient for our overnight stay before an early flight.

They have a shuttle available that starts very early in the morning. I remember we had to leave before they started serving breakfast, but that wasn't a problem, we just ate at the airport.
