Backtrack boot splash

Change The Boot splash

If you don't want to show everybody that you are booting Backtrack 5, you can change the bootsplashscreen to Ubuntu default like this:

# apt-get install plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo

# update-alternatives --config default.plymouth

--> select # of ubuntu-logo theme

# update-initramfs -u -k all

# reboot

Note:  update-initramfs -u -k all is necessary to use the "-k all", cause it affects the kernerl compling. I choose one lazy tip: just change the pic of the default.plymouth, becasue I don't want to see the BT5 red splash. OK, I downloaded the posthuman splash, underworld backgroud to change the pic indefault.plymouth , and the effect is good. The following is something I searched from internet,you can ignore it.
