Birmingham shop owners teach people the art of turning trash into treasure
A student with a passion for fashion, Lucy Pratt found she had a bulging wardrobe bursting with clothes and shoes. "I thought Cheap NFL Jerseys it was really important to have all of that stuff and I was dreading the challenge.
"But once I got started it felt like I had been given a new lease of life. Called Laura Loves, it's a gift shop with a twist, offering upcycled and hand made jewellery and accessories created by the 25 year old.
"Lucy and I have the same attitude when it comes to recycling," says who graduated from Birmingham City University with a degree in textile design.
"In the UK alone over a million tonnes of textiles were dumped into landfill last year.
"We want to provide the alternative to just throwing textiles away by giving them a new purpose."
