VMware Server 1.0.7 on Ubuntu 8.10

       ubuntu 8.10已经出来好几天了，今天终于把把我的7.04换到了，我不喜欢夸版本升级，也说不出理由来～。今天把系统安装完后，把系统的游戏卸载掉。优化系统，由于以前的 vmware-server也是老版本的，所以在官方下载了vmware-server-1.0.7，可是在安装的时候出错了～
      错误如下：

在网上搜索了很多文章打补丁，设么都没用，我想到可能是 内核于vmware有凭顶，就在google搜索2.6.27-7-generic  vmware-server搜索到几篇文章，可是，都被 大陆的 GFW和谐掉了，换代理上去，看到了原来要打一个 vmware-update-2.6.27-5.5.7-2.tar.gz 补丁～
安装补丁方法我在介绍下 ～
1.tar zxvf VMware-server-1.0.7-108231.tar.gz
  cd vmware-server-distrib
  ./vmware-install.p
安装到Do you want this program to try to build the vmmon module for your system?到这里要输入 “no”
2.tar zxvf  vmware-update-2.6.27-5.5.7-2.tar.gz
 cd vmware-update-2.6.27-5.5.7-2
  ./runme.pl
按提示或选择默认直到出现：“……Do you want this program to try to build the vmmon module for your system?” ，这次要在这里要输入” Yes“。
呵呵，这样 就OK了 ～
