why is like that?
A foreigner tell the following story.....
"Yea it happened to a mate of mine. He arrived in China 11 years ago and was riding his bicycle around with his girlfriend and rode past a group at an outside restaurant watching a guy beat the living ---- out of his girlfriend. He got of his bike and just as the guy picked up a bottle to smash over his girlfriends head, he king hit him from the side and proceeded to punch and kick the ---- out of the guy with his Dr. Martins. Every one watched and no one did a thing. Guess he may think about it next time he gets pissed with his girlfriend"
"I had a few interventions where guys were beating the crap out of the girlfriend’s faces while their buds just sat their smoking minding their own business. I threw one guy through a glass door at KTV once for that. the security guards turned their backs, sat on the couches when he started beating her, pulling her by the hair down the stairs. i walked down to the main floor where he was ramming her face first through a doorway - i grabbed him, he swung at me and i sent him flying. once his face went through the glass, all the security guys came running down, claiming to have seen the whole thing and saying ‘the foreigner started the whole thing’. his excuse? she’s my girlfriend, I can beat her if I want to. my response? try telling that to her father, see what he has to say about it."
he want to know why is it, in situations like this, that foreigners are the ones who stop things like this and not chinese men? Do all chinese men think it is an acceptable thing to beat a girl? he is starting to believe so, as they do nothing to stop it.

Maybe I cann't explain it well,but I still want to say something!
Normally,man cann't beat women in public place,if someone do.he must be blamed by ohter people,well,the reason why no one did a thing is that all other people scared,they're afraid to make themselves hurt. cause they are not strong enough to stop what happened,and the men(who beat women) will think that's none of other people's business,even other people say something that maybe make them get a beat,too,
I'm assume that you must know a little chinese history,longlong ago,in the ancient china,men have the right to own more than one wife,after a long and hard revolution,nowardays,there is a balance between men and women,well,there isn't totally equality between them,in china ,especially to the people who never had a chance to get an education,in their thoughts,they always believe that women cann't do what men can do.and they are the king,they can control anything ,they don't know how to respect women,no matter how speak to them,they can not understand at all.so when people saw that,they choose to be silent, cause even they had a few inteventions,that cann't help them at all,cause next time it still will happen,well,you know you cann't apear anytime!
what you saw is few!I'm sure that cann't be happened in the people who accepted a high education, in the future every people in china will have right to get a basic education,and you know china is a devoloping country,have its own different culture ,still have lots of aspects to be improved!!it will be better!!trust me ,most of chinese people are good.gradually,this scene will be disappeared!

it's because the system in china is still not so integrated ,it's so different with yours!!!if you really want to know why it happened on earth! what you should do is know lots of chinese history and even the goverment system.everything has its two sides.hope somedays later you can change your mind to chinese men!!!

it's not because they are blind,it's because they really don't know how to do,cause they are tiny and haven't enough power to change that!!but we will do our best to do something we can do ,I believe future will be better!!!!

in china 's tradition,husband beats wife that is unalterable principle,unless it cause death,everybody feel normal if they heard husband beats wife,and usually that happened in their own home.nobody know,in china there is a foldsay : Domestic shame should not be published.
those who beats their girlfriend are bad ass!! they have bad character!!and the girls who were beaten are not wise to choose that kind of boyfriend too!
yes ,what you said is right!!! we should use education to solve them ,yes teachers told us that we are equal,and most people know that it's wrong to beat women,as what i have said it's a long history problem!
I have a dream that when i 'm more than 40yrs old,I will have enough society experiences.i would want to be a teacher,and I will devote to changing such issue!!!
hope you can forget that unhappy experience!
