vmware Redhat guest OS to connect to internet

To connect RH guest OS to internet

1.use bridge and DHCP in RH guest machine

2.vi /etc/resolve.conf  to make the router ip as nameserver.

if the system won't pick up IP , such as Fedora and Centos, (RH can pick up ip after step 1 with command

service network restart), just restart VM machine. it will help to modify /etc/resolve.conf as well.

the nameserver will be setup as router's ip address

you may want to disable firewall and selinux  if the system won't work
