Call detail record

A call detail record (also known as call data record or CDR) is the computer record produced by a telephone exchange containing details of a phone call that passed through it. It is the automated equivalent of the paper toll tickets that were written and timed byoperators for long-distance calls in a manual telephone exchange.

呼叫细节记录(CDR),在PSTN和VOIP系统中所使用的术语,是写给后处理活动数据库的电话呼叫记录。典型的呼叫细节记录包括:呼叫的始发和目的地址、呼叫开始和结束的时间、呼叫的时间长度、打电话的日期、通过网络支付的电话费或服务费以及其他的呼叫细节。CDR主要用于记帐和网络分析。

 

呼叫细节记录(call detail record)在VOIP系统中是一个用来记录所有的系统日志的文件。包括每一个通话的时间,通话的次数等等。用户只要保存自己的账户就可以下载到自己的呼叫细节纪录(CDR)。这个纪录将显示用户所有的VOIP纪录。在电话局,CDR包含所有的交换信息。

A CDR is composed of fields that describe the exchange. Examples of fields include:

  • the number making the call (calling party)
  • the number receiving the call (called party)
  • when the call started (date and time)
  • how long the call was (duration)
  • the phone number charged for the call
  • the identifier of the telephone exchange writing the record
  • a sequence number identifying the record
  • additional digits on the called number used to route or charge the call
  • the result of the call (whether it was answered, busy etc)
  • the route by which the call entered the exchange
  • the route by which the call left the exchange
  • call type (voice, SMS, etc)
  • any fault condition encountered
