Solaris 10 改ip参考文档之二

参考自:Cannot change IP address of Solaris[TM] 10 host (Doc ID 1007942.1)

Symptoms
Changing the IP address in /etc/hosts (linked to /etc/inet/hosts) and rebooting does not change the primary interface's address.

Resolution
Change the entry for the host in /etc/inet/ipnodes.

Additional Information
Prior to Solaris[TM] 10, IPv6 was not enabled by default. So there would only be entries in /etc/inet/ipnodes for any systems you may want to use IPv6 with.
The host itself is only (by default) in /etc/inet/hosts. Therefore changes to /etc/inet/hosts would be effective on the next reboot.
Starting in Solaris 10, the host has entries in both /etc/inet/hosts and /etc/inet/ipnodes. Both files should be kept in sync; however, if they do not match, ipnodes has precedence. If ipnodes has the old IP address, changes in /etc/inet/hosts will appear not to have any effect.

Product
Solaris 10 Operating System
