Symptoms

An error occurs during the installation of 10.2.0.x on Linux Operating Systems:

Preparing to launch Oracle Universal Installer from /tmp/OraInstall2009-05-28_11-59-48AM. 
Please wait ...oracle@/oracle/software/database> 
The java class could not be loaded. java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

Changes

As per oracle install documents JDK (java)IBM SDK 1.5 has been installed.

Cause

The oracle installation documents indicate the SDK 1.5 can be installed but it is not a requirement.

Since oracle installations on Linux install its own SDK/JDK - the SDK 1.5 installation on the OS is causing a conflict and the OUI will fail with the above error message.

Solution

Deinstall the SDK 1.5 from the Operating System.

正解：最后我用高版本去安装看具体报错，原来是

Exception java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/OraInstall2014-03-05_01-51-42AM/jre/1.4.2/bin/libawt.so: libXtst.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory occurred..

安装完下面这个包就OK了，rpm -ivh libXtst-1.0.99.2-3.el6.ppc.rpm
