SOSP会议全名为ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles。两年一次。从1967年开始的第一届，到今年10月份的第22界(SOSP09)。 基本上可定义为计算机操作系统研究领域的旗舰会议。其宗旨和目的在其主页中是这样描述的：The ACM Symposium on Operating Systems Principles (SOSP) is a conference that brings together developers and researchers from academia and industry to advance the science and technology in operating systems. The conference is sponsored by theACM Special Interest Group on Operating Systems (SIGOPS). It has been held once every two years since 1967, when the first SOSP conference took place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Information on SOSP conferences is provided below.
