VMware Tools 安装问题

正式安装vmware-tools
    ./vmware-install.pl
    在此安装过程中，除了在执行vmware-config-tools.pl需要配置内核的头文件路径外，其它所有选项都可以直接使用缺省设置。内核的头文件路径的配置采用前面7）中的”ls -d /usr/src/kernels/$(uname -r)*/include”的结果即可。
    
修改xorg.conf的设置
     执行完vmware-config-tools.pl后，不要立即启动X11，需要对xorg.conf文件进行如下配置,否则你将在重启X11的时候遇到如下的错误"Undefined Monitor "vmware".."
    vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf

    # Add the lines
        Section "Monitor"
            Identifier   "vmware"
        EndSection
    # To add better mouse support, add the lines
        Section "InputDevice"
            Identifier "Mouse0"
            Driver "vmmouse"
            Option "Protocol" "Auto"
            Option "Device" "/dev/input/mouse0"
        EndSection
    # then find the "ServerLayout" section, and in that section, add the line
            InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" 

 

启动后发现鼠标不同步，分辨率也不对，
安装以后发现分辨率是800*600的......
想调整一下......
进入屏幕分辨率......
发现可供选择的就两个......
800*600和640*480......
于是上网搜Fedroa分辨率......
看了很多文章......
大多雷同......
也没什么用......
看一个贴子说是要选择显示器类型......
于是系统->管理->显示->硬件->显示器类型配置->点第一个前面的三角形->选择1024*768......
注销后重进系统......
然后再去调分辨率就有1024*768这一项了......

最后用桌面上的Fedora8 386 DVD中的VM Tools rm图形化安装包进行图形化安装，(最好不要采用网上给的命令行方式)重新启动搞定。。。
