Install WebSphere Process Server onto Ubuntu Edgy

These days I managed to install WebSphere Process Server 6.0.2 onto Ubuntu Edgy in my desktop. The only problem is that it failed to create WPS profile. Finally the reason is found. From Edgy, Ubuntu replaces bash with dash as the default shell. Check /bin/sh with "ls -al /bin/sh", which refers to /bin/dash. But WPS/WAS implicitly regards bash as the shell to execute shell files (profile creation shell specifically) and there are some differences between these two type of shells. As a resolution, I have to use bash as the default shell before installing WPS. Run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure dash" to configure it. After that, installer is completed successfully and default server created can work fine. Note that WebSphere Process Server is not officially supported on Ubuntu Linux.
