NetBeans 6.7.1 sucks?

Code auto-complete feature is always the first thing that comes to me when talking about any IDE.

The new IDE NetBeans is quite amazing and is totally perfect for rails developtment at first glance. However, after playing for 1 day, I kind of can't take the long-wait of its code hint. Always "please waiting" for like 10 secs. I know it will be slow when the JDK version is under 1.6, but my JDK is actually 1.6. Then why? I went through the release notes of 6.7.1 and found its test env is JDK 6 Update 14. Perhaps my JDK is out-of-date a bit.

I tried the update of JDK to 6.0.16, then open NB again. The code hint make me surprised - the speed of flying.
