On the edges of the main city, this plaza is not too familiar to even the local Ningbonese. Selling goods and items at wholesale prices, if you're looking for a bargain then this is the place to shop!

This beautiful commercial project can be found in the middle of the Southern Business District. Silver walk brings together high-end restaurants such as Wang Pin, Chao Yong Xuan, Xiang Tian Tian, and a few bars and coffee joints. If you fancy a constitutional walk after eating yourself full, you can also take a stroll in the neighbouring Yinzhou Park. When the business district's lights are turned on on the weekends, Silver Walk looks magnificent.

If you can imagine it, this shopping centre's design is based on Paris' Champs Elysees. It houses all of the luxury brands like LV, Hermes, Dior, Gucci and others. There are also a few lavish restaurants on the top floor.

Moonlake Garden is located in the historical district of Yujiayang, and it's one of the few existing traditional urban districts in Ningbo. The area is full of Chinese restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There is also a seemingly misplaced ‘Papa John's Pizza’ but given the fact that there is also a Starbucks present… I guess this traditional mixed with the new style is acceptable.

Nantang Old Street was once the gathering place of Ningbo's business merchants and was one of the eight historic districts in the city. The place has been knocked down and rebuilt into a long Chinese street featuring classical Chinese architecture and food... Lots of food! You start from one end chomping down dumplings, slurping down noodle soups while smelling the aromas of classic Chinese street food as you make your way to the other end. Highly recommended and surprisingly quite cheap. There is a Fenghua beef noodles shop located in the middle that is really good!
Address: Haishu District Chuanbu Xiang (near Yin Jiangan Road)
Located in the north of the Ningbo's city centre this plaza is designed like a neighbourhood. The concept follows the Singaporean style of business district's by which you incorporate ‘daily life’ into the design. So instead of monolithic buildings, you have small shop fronts, streets, parks and benches. So when you want to ‘people watch’ you can just find a spot, with a coffee in your hand and let your eyes wander.
