Impressions about this book: the book is interesting and the author must be an interesting person!

The first chapter tells us how the hero of this book got stranded on Mars. The story is going to focus on how he will survive until someone from NASA come to rescue him. He may die of starving or any other kinds of reasons before the rescue team arrives 1400 days later.

I like the style of languages the author uses. It's easy and interesting. You'll laugh at any moment because of the humor of the main character Mark Watney.

I really like this part! When you read about the Supervisor insisted on requesting image of the Aries3 to make sure things could be done to help bring the body of mark along with next mission, you will be touched.

Teddy said I'm going to Chicago and I'll be back tomorrow.

That's where Watney's parents live.

I was touched by a man who really cares for his team!

He thinks of taking Mark's body back, and also updating his parents the latest information.

That's the kind what real leader is.

Another interesting conversation happens between the three employees arguing about how many backup radios there are! That's funny.
