Shem was one hundred years old when he became the father of Arphaxad,two years after  becoming the flood.And after becoming the father of Arphaxad,Shem lived five hundred years and had other sons and daughters.

When Arphaxad had lived thirty-five years,he became the father of Shelah.And after he became the father of Shelah,Arphaxad lived four hundred and three years and had other sons and daughters.

When Shelah had lived thirty years,he became the father of Eber.And after he bacame the father of Eber,Shelah liverd four hundred and three years and had other sons and daughters.

When Eber had lived thirty-four years,he became the father of Peleg.And after he bacame the father of Peleg ,Eber liverd four hundred and thirty years and had other sons and daughters. 

When Peleg had lived thirty years,he became the father of Reu.And after he bacame the father of Reu,Peleg liverd two hundred and nine years and had other sons and daughters.

When Reu had lived thirty-two years,he became the father of Serug.And after he bacame the father of Serug,Reu liverd two hundred and seven years and had other sons and daughters.

When Serug had lived thirty years,he became the father of Nahor.And after he bacame the father of Nahor,Serug liverd two hundred years and had other sons and daughters.

When Nahor had lived thirty years,he became the father of Terah.And after he bacame the father of Terah,Nahor liverd one hundred and nineteen years and had other sons and daughters.  

When Terah had lived seventy years,he became the father of Abram,Nahor,and Haran.
