THIS WEEK
Our Star is Michelle Ibarra
I am originally from California, born and raised in San Diego. My parents are from Mexico and worked hard to move to the states. I have been living abroad for seven years now, six countries in seven years to be exact. Teaching, studying, volunteering. Currently, I am a teacher at an international school in addition to owning a graphic design business. In my spare time I support and manage Asia & Oceania cities for Girl Gone International community and magazine.
I love supporting the new generation of women travelers and bringing people together. I am a meticulous event organizer that is direct and efficient. I am also insanely punctual and truly despise when people are late. I want to mentor, guide and share my experiences with the next generation of women travelers, students and expats. My long-term goal is to go back to the states to get my PhD in neuroscience as I love science but don’t have the time now to study!
1.What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Shower. It's the only thing that wakes me up. Then get ready. I spend about an hour getting ready depending on how crazy my hair is being that day.

5.What’s the first outfit you ever bought for yourself?
