Linux CentOS5.5 软RAID10 (一)磁盘分区与格式化

raid 英文全称是 Redundant Array of Independent Disk ,独立冗余磁盘阵列,  有 raid 0  raid 1  raid 10  raid 01  raid  5   raid 50  等等,简单了解可以看看 http://baike.baidu.com/view/7102.htm#sub7102

 

一.新增四块scsi磁盘

比如用虚拟机新增4个1G大小的磁盘,分别是

/dev/sdb  /dev/sdc  /dev/sdd  /dev/sde

 

二.分别对四块磁盘进行分区

此处以 /dev/sdb为例,其他三块都类似,直接只分一个主分区

fdisk /dev/sdb
Device contains neither a valid DOS partition table, nor Sun, SGI or OSF disklabel
Building a new DOS disklabel. Changes will remain in memory only,
until you decide to write them. After that, of course, the previous
content won't be recoverable.

Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by w(rite)

三.对磁盘分区进行格式化
fsck -t ext3 /dev/sd{b,c,d,e}1 

此处,我格式化为 ext3 文件系统,也可以格式化为ext4  等其他文件系统

 

四.最后,可以通过  fdisk -l  查看一下
