Yesterday , we talked about proverb in group class. Before class ,my teacher let everyone prepared at least 3 proverbs and described them in detail. I became the first one who introduce Chinese proverb to my classmates.
A journey of Thousands mils starts with first step. What made me amazing is My Korean classmates also knew that and the pronunciation was so similar. This proverb means whatever we want to do ,the most important thing is to take action. This proverb was created by Chinese ancient 2000 years ago. What I'm trying to say is China has 5000 years culture and there are so many famous book and people.
Another proverb which I get from toilet is Teachers open the door you must enter by yourself. This proverb means we should master the skills by ourself even if there are so many troubles and difficulties. One thing we have to remember is that if you give up no one can help you, god rewards the diligent.
I'm so sorry that I have forgot my classmates' proverb. If my memory serves me right, "There is a sunshine (rainbow) after rain" is Ghillie Ann Aniban, who is my English teacher. After that we had a debate about some proverbs which against each other.
One thing that we have to remember is that proverb is a advice which can help us to make a wise decision and live a good life . But don't obey directly when you make an important decision.
