Sr. Director, Marketing

The Sr. Director, Marketing will play a vital and strategic role in owning the full cycle of marketing, including market insights, product planning, pricing, demand generation, market/ brand strategy, marketing operations, marketing communications, channel marketing and sales planning & operations.


Key practice areas under the scope of the role include, but not limited to:Branding,Product Planning,Sales Planning & Operations,Team Leadership/ People Development.



  • Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/ market intelligence, branding strategies for Consumer, Commercial.

  • Develop & deploy brand strategies and marketing plans to meet growth objectives, support business strategy alignment, and to achieve goals in market share & operating profit.

  • Lead the design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, events and other marketing efforts across channels to deliver on brand positioning and business goals.

  • Develop, lead and implement Digital Marketing strategy and plans in line with the global and regional priorities and guidelines, and in step with latest trends & consumer needs.

  • Oversee the development of new products (with cross functional teams) and the creation of product roadmap.

  • Oversee the operations of the overall department (including pricing and sales operations) to drive focus & plans across the region on improving profitability, aligning data/ performance indicators, and meeting business target.

  • Focus on people and organization effectiveness by leading, coaching and motivating the marketing team in the pursuit of operational excellence.


Requirements:


  • Master’s or Post Graduate Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent

  • Strong general management, operational experience and proven track record in P&L, with at least15 years management experiencein a large global corporation, preferably in automotive and consumer products

  • Strategic driven, possess critical thinking with strong commercial orientation in B2B, B2C or B2B2C

  • Extensive experience across the Greater China region and market dynamics

  • Possess creative thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative leadership in developing marketing strategies and communications programs that engage a variety of diverse stakeholders

  • Strong leadership abilities to direct and manage teams, including the ability to identify talent, build teams, mentor and develop team members, and inspire performance that exceeds expectations and retains resources

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and process great cultural sensitives with the ability to influence key stakeholders

  • Knowledge of marketing technology tools and digital marketing trend is a plus

  • Language proficiency: English & Mandarin are mandatory (other language(s) are added advantage)
