中欧国际工商学院建院25周年，服务国家战略，培养一流人才

在中欧国际工商学院建院25周年之际，市人大常委会主任殷一璀、市委副书记尹弘今天（15日）来到学院，向全体师生员工和海内外校友表示祝贺。

On the occasion of CEIBS’ 25th anniversary, Yin Yicui, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress, and Yin Hong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, visited the school’s Shanghai campus on November 15 to extend their congratulations to CEIBS’ faculty, students, staff and alumni.

尹弘指出，25年来，中欧国际工商学院着力提升办学质量，创新办学模式，取得长足进步。当前，上海正按照习近平主席重要指示精神，加快建设国际经济、金融、贸易、航运和科技创新中心，全力推动三项新的重大任务落地落实，需要一流商学院源源不断提供人才和智力支撑。希望学院扎根中国大地，吸收先进经验，提炼中国特色，培养更多兼具中国深度和世界广度的优秀人才，贡献更多具有中国智慧的咨询和原创性管理思想，更好服务国家战略和城市发展，更好推动中欧人文交流与合作。

In a speech at the event, Deputy Secretary Yin Hong pointed out that, over the past 25 years, CEIBS has made great efforts to improve the quality of school operations and continuously drive innovation. In accordance with the guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping, he explained, Shanghai is accelerating the development of international economic, financial, trade, shipping and science and technology innovation centres. As such, he added, the city needs first-class business schools to continuously provide talent and intellectual support. Deputy Secretary Yin Hong also said he hopes CEIBS will continue to thrive in China, to cultivate outstanding talent versed in “China Depth, Global Breadth”, contribute more original Chinese knowledge and management ideas, and better serve the country’s national strategy and urban development in order to better promote cultural exchange and co-operation between China and Europe.

欧盟驻华大使郁白，欧盟委员会前主席、意大利前总理普罗迪，欧洲管理发展基金会名誉主席范斯海克，上海市副市长陈群，上海交通大学党委书记姜斯宪、校长林忠钦出席相关活动。中欧国际工商学院由中国政府和欧盟于1994年联合创立，是中国唯一一所由中外政府联合创立的商学院，MBA、EMBA课程位列英国《金融时报》排行榜全球五强。

Other guests who attended the event included Nicolas Chapuis, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to China; Romano Prodi, former European Commission President and former Prime Minister of Italy; Dr. Gerard Van Schaik, Honorary Chairman of the EFMD; Chen Qun, Vice Mayor of Shanghai; Jiang Sixian, Secretary of the SJTU Party Committee; and Lin Zhongqin, President of SJTU. Co-founded by the Chinese government and European Union (EU) in 1994, CEIBS is China’s only business school to originate from government-level collaboration. Its MBA and Global EMBA programmes both featured amongst the top 5 in the most recent Financial Times’ global rankings.
