Bothering your friends appropriately, ever now and then, is a good way to maintain and enhance yo...

In today's world where everyone is busy with their own lives, do you still keep in touch with your friends? Do your friends want to be bothered? Well, it really depends on the situation.

First thing is if they are your real friends then no need to constantly bother them with some not-so-important things, as they say a strong friendship doesn't need daily conversation, doesn't always need togetherness, as long as true friends live in the heart, true friends will never part. They say to test your friend, ask them for money. Suppose my childhood friend call me once in a blue moon* and  out of the blue* she's borrowing a lot of money from me. Normally, I will ask her what happened and if she couldn't give me a clear reason then I may refuse to lend her. Then she would say, you are not a real friend. Later, she will send me a message saying "I just want to test you whether you still believe in me and will help me out anytime but obviously you failed". Does that mean we are not friends anymore? Should we really use this way to test our friend?

What if the situation is like this, another friend, who in the very beginning we were not close but with the same interests, we gradually became friends. When this friend borrows money and she explains that she really needs it then I would gladly lend her money.

So what I want to say is bothering friends would really depend on the situation and we need to follow the real situation to keep up with our friends. Bothering your friends at a bad timing can break your relationship but bothering them at the best time can really enhance your friendship and one way to let them know that even if we live in a busy world, I would still bother** to bother*** you.

*once in a blue moon-

not very often;rarely

*out of the blue-unexpectedly

**bother-give some effort

*** bother-to annoy you
