今天要和大家分享的是绘本故事/me on the map/ by Joan Sweeney, illustrated by Annette Cable.和往常不同，这次我们先看到了绘本故事书的底面，右上角用黑体字写着“read to your child!the most important minutes of your day."这就很符合我们总是说的，每天亲子共读20分钟，是非常有必要的一件事情。正中间是介绍，”where are you? where is your room? where is your home? where is your town? maps can show you where you are--anywhere in the world! this palyful introduction to maps shows children how easy it is to find the places they know and love. filled with fun and fascinating illustrations, /me on the maps / helps children discover their special place on the planet.作者写的同系列绘本故事还有/me and my amazing body/,/me and my family tree/, /me and the measure of things/ ./me  counting time/ , /me and my place in space/. 这是一本可以帮助孩子学会使用地图的书籍，并且了解方位的书。书中也有引言，“for Peggy ,John, and Tom ---JS. To people who put me on the map, Mom and Dad----A.C.  summary: a child describes how her town, her house, her room, her state, and her country become part of a map of her world.故事先从自己的房间开始，介绍了房间的地图，然后是自己的房子的地图及房子地图上的房间，然后是街道地图及街道地图上的房子。接着介绍了我的城镇地图及城镇地图上我的街道，及我所在的州的地图和州地图上的城镇……然后又从世界地图上一个个找回，直到找到自己的房间和自己。如果孩子们没有接触过地图知识的，这本书肯定可以很好的理解。
