Right Attitudes are in order.

Paperwork is officially on. Probably this would be my last legacy at college. As a student in the traslation and interpretation major, we get to pick our direction of gradation thesis between practical report and academic research. The first one can be dived into two different sub-items - translation analysis and report and interpreting one. Both types require us to arm with loads of professional knowladge and read a lot of related materails in the whole process, which is a huge challenge for people who haven't weaved out a dedicate and active individual network of knowledge and profession, especially for those who land on the academic one because it require more theoretical, logical and academic capacilities. That means this one is more like a whole package with several indispensible components.

With the spirit of honing my not that good logic and clear thinking as well as getting out of comfortable zone, chasing after some fun and challenge in otherwise dull and dry life, I decided to go for the academic one.

I've downloaded 60-odd papers from CNIK focusing on four main topics that I'm interested on - the ad and traslation, the rothetic and translation, the syntax and traslation and trading translation. I haven't settle down among them. I think the first thing I need to do is to read them all and decide a specific broad topic. Only when you get your hands on this kind of school stuff, can you know the ups and downs inside. The whole process is more like a view of panorama in the beginning and a zoom-in in the following. By the constant and speedy or slowly zoom-in, there may be one or two spots and items spring on your face successfully and bingo, there you go, you can officially start to study something.

The whole period of finishing the paper would last to next May. So, it's better to to something really intriguing to put my time and energy on. Wish me that I could break all my legs.
