1. Install the components
    # yum install openstack-neutron-linuxbridge ebtables ipset
  2. Configure the common component
    The Networking common component configuration includes the authentication mechanism, message queue, and plug-in.
    Edit the /etc/neutron/neutron.conf file and complete the following actions:
○ In the [database] section, comment out any connection options because compute nodes do not directly access the database.
○ In the [DEFAULT] section, configure RabbitMQ message queue access:
    [DEFAULT]
    # ...
    transport_url = rabbit://openstack:[email protected]

○ In the [DEFAULT] and [keystone_authtoken] sections, configure Identity service access:
    [DEFAULT]
    # ...
    auth_strategy = keystone

    [keystone_authtoken]
    # ...
    www_authenticate_uri = http://stack.flex.net:5000
    auth_url = http://stack.flex.net:5000
    memcached_servers = dbs.flex.net:11211
    auth_type = password
    project_domain_name = default
    user_domain_name = default
    project_name = service
    username = neutron
    password = neutron123
    Note: Comment out or remove any other options in the [keystone_authtoken] section.
○ In the [oslo_concurrency] section, configure the lock path:
    [oslo_concurrency]
    # ...
    lock_path = /var/lib/neutron/tmp
  1. Configure networking options

    选择下列网络选项中的一个,或两个全选,参看下面的两个章节。并返回这里再向下继续配置.
    ○ Networking Option 1: Provider networks
    ○ Networking Option 2: Self-service networks

  2. Configure the Compute service to use the Networking service
    Edit the /etc/nova/nova.conf file and complete the following actions:
    ○ In the [neutron] section, configure access parameters:
    [neutron]
    # ...
    url = http://stack.flex.net:9696
    auth_url = http://stack.flex.net:5000
    auth_type = password
    project_domain_name = default
    user_domain_name = default
    region_name = RegionOne
    project_name = service
    username = neutron
    password = neutron123
  3. Finalize installation
    ○ Restart the Compute service:
    # systemctl restart openstack-nova-compute.service
    ○ Start the Linux bridge agent and configure it to start when the system boots:
    # systemctl enable neutron-linuxbridge-agent.service
    # systemctl start neutron-linuxbridge-agent.service
