As we all know,four great tragedies which were written by Shakespeare are very famous-Hamelt, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth. Each of them tells us a sadness story,but people still love to read it and even cry about it,so it is the charm of Shakespeare’s plays.
We have read Hamlet. The play tells us a moving story,it is about revenging. At last,no one can escape the fate of death.
Hamlet,the prince of Denmark, is the title character of the play. At the beginning of the play,his father,the king of Denmark,is killed by his uncle,whose name is Claudius. Of couse, Claudius becames the king,so Hamlet has no choise but to run away. At the end of the play,he kills his uncle,and also kills himself.
Shakespeare creates Hamlet--a man with wisdom and courage ．In order to revenge on his uncle，he pretend to be mad and suffer a series of misery． On the contrary，we can also say that Hamlet is rude and selfish for he do not think twice before his revenge．If a country has no king，how can a country keep alive．So，everything has two sides，the bright side and adumbral side．Every time we make a decision we have to think twice．
"To be or not to be, this is a question，" the issue of philosophy raised by him is the basic proposition．Because just these things occurred to him lead to his philosophy of life. In his life, whether everything is good or bad，he will not take into account this issue. The only life he sees is the light face，then life is good. And later，the sudden tragedy forces him to face the dark side of life and the ugly side of human nature．
It can be said that Hamlet faces the dark side of life or a more profound understanding．The past he only turned a blind eye to it all． Now the harsh reality forces him to face all this．There was a premonition that he would be dragged into the inevitable fate of a tragedy．
The birth of tragedy in many cases is because that desire has no rest. Money and material is never-ending thing, so people will continue the expansion of desire. Greed is the common weaknesses of people. But, We should learn to bound our desires. It is knowing how to control it that prevents it from taking over your life, so that you can continue to focus on your work with full energy. Life itself is not a tragedy. When the world is seen as a hopeful, positive place,people are empowered to attempt and to achieve. But there are many things that break our hope. Hamlet's uncle kills his father, usurps power, marry with his mother. What's worse, Hamlet's friends die one after another. In my opinion, Hamlet's hesitation lead to this situation. He want to revenge, but he has a lot of care. If he can be more decisive, it may have a different result.
Why do people like to read Shakespeare's tragedies?Do they really want to see the characters dying in the play?I have no idea. In fact,I don’t like tragedies,because it makes me sad. But tragedies can let me think a lot about the real world,I think it is the main thought that why William Shakespeare wrote famous tragedies which people like very much. Shakespeare's tragedies not only tell the real world of that time,also we can learn it in our time. That’s one reason that Shakespeare is one of the world famous writer. Now, I know Shakespeare’s thoughts little,when I grow up,with more experience,I hope I could know him more.
