20171226 Chapter 18 Years of Wanderings

My thoughts

还沉浸在前一章苏东坡那种潇洒自在的生活了,今天就到了读到了他颠沛流离生活。纵使才华横溢,名满天下,也拗不过朝廷的一纸诏令。尽管已经上了年纪,想过清闲的日子,也不得不离开自己亲手打造的东坡,拖家带口重新上路。难免让人觉得政治生活索然无味,竟打断了他悠闲的诗人生活。

但也有令人动容的地方。一是苏东坡经常要绕路特意去看望自己的弟弟,兄弟情深令人感慨。二是他交心过朋友,维护过的百姓,都来送他。尽得人心,也算安慰。

更能体现他豁达之处的,要算他和王安石的重逢了。尽管两人政治理念不同,甚至苏东坡也因此被贬入狱,他们还是可以坐下来平心静气地谈家国大事,不愧是大家。

without thinking first.

造句:I didn’t mean it. They just popped out.

释义:with a single sudden action

造句:At one stroke, the country lost two

outstanding generals.

拓展:with/at a stroke of the pen : someone in

authority signs an official document to make a decision with important and

serious results.
