Already,' 'by the time' 和 'when'

用 already、by the time 和 when 等时间词语与过去完成时一起说明过去的事件之间的关系。

用过去完成时表示的事件是在过去的另一件事件之前发生的，你可以用 already 来强化这个意思。注意：already 位于 had 和动词的过去分词之间。

I'd already met the boss, so I didn't introduce myself. 因为我已经见过老板了，所以没有再进行自我介绍。

Had you already given references, or did they ask you? 你是已经给他们提供了推荐信呢，还是他们问你了？

2.后续电话与电子邮件

求职面试结束后，再打电话或发电子邮件去了解情况是一种礼貌。你所说的话将取决于面试后的时间长短和招聘公司已告知你的内容。电话或电子邮件应简明扼要。

如果面试后已过了一段时间，这时也许适合询问相关职位的情况。

I was wondering if the position had been filled yet. 我想知道这个职位是否已经找到人了。

Have you made a decision on the position yet? 你已经决定这个职位的人选了吗？

你可以表达自己对相关职位的持续兴趣。

I am still very interested in the position. 我对这个职位还是非常感兴趣。
