不知道是因为已经看了一星期了开始渐渐习惯了英文阅读和小说情节，还是这两章是讲爱情的原因，感觉阅读的速度有所增长....撒花...

这两章就是讲Winston和Julia谈地下情咯，每天偷偷想尽方法见面，Winston对Julia的 感情越来越深，了解越来越多，最后为了能够成功见面，不惜冒极大的风把Carrington的那个小阁楼租下来作为幽会地点。

在谈恋爱的过程当中，Winston还和Julia分享以前和妻子走错路的时候差点想把她推下山崖的想法。他开始治愈内心的洞。

从Julia分享她的看法和过去中，可以感受到，Julia就是一个很会伪装自己的人，从小到大非常出色。虽然她极度不喜欢这种社会环境，但是她很聪明地去迎合，从而让自己生活在安全之中。
