Actually, in the same place there was the 13th QingDao Pet Adoption Day back in March this year. People put forward a slogan "领养代替买卖".

With the development of events, I joined Dan's P.U.P 10K Fundraiser Group. There are also many foreigners here do care of the stray animals survival condition in QingDao. Every year this group organized Charity Run to collect for animals which are need to be rescued. Even on daily, members often share information about each other in the group.

Below there are two things I want to discuss here:

1\ Why is the number of abandoned pets in cities growing rapidly?

Although there are more volunteers today, the phenomenon of abandoning pets is still growing geometrically. On the one hand, after urban residents getting more salary and improving their living standards, more and more families start to buy pets. On the other hand, people lack knowledge about pet care treatment generally. Even for me, when I saw animals with a skin diseases several years ago, I felt so scary and detest. This came from the innate resistance to infectious disease. I realized that there are three kinds of animals are often get dumped:

1. Infectious skin disease. It's looks scary and it's scary to infect others.
2. Canine parvovirus disease. Lated treatment of such diseases can lead to dogs death or recurrent disease. High treatment cost also.
3. Car accidents disabilities, inborn disabilities and ugly looks.

For the first two types, the society should promote pet care knowledge dissemination and popularization. Regular vaccination, deworming and bathing are all necessary. Infectious skin disease is not scary. It can be cured.

For the third type, people need to have a sense that meeting each pet is a fate. Of course it's not easy, like every parent wants to have a cute, beautiful, smart kid. But please remember that pets' eyes are as clear as childrens'.

Why do some adopters only require and accept breed dogs?

I may will buy a beatiful doggie in some day, but I know I will adopt a dog now. There are too many stray animals need help and love!

This little angel I'd like to adopt, but I lack of necessary requirements. Molly is a 3 months old puppy and she is a healthy baby of a stray momy dog. She is very smart and naughty like all other puppies.

The adopter home already has another two dogs(include her mother), they want find someone who love this cute little fellow. If you are interest in her, please let me know:)
