have something done 表示：叫某人做某事

Jill repaired the roof.

Jill had the roof repaired.

Did Ann make the dress herself or did she have it made?

'Are you going to repair the car yourself?' 'No, I'm going to have it repaired.'

口语中可用 get something dong 代替 have something done:

When are you going to get the roof repaired?

I think you should get your hair cut.

有时，have something done 有着不同的意思：

Jill and Eric had all their money stolen while they were on holiday.

They had all their money stolen.= All their money was stolen from them.

也可用来表示不幸遭遇或意外：

George had his nose broken in a fight.

Have you ever had your passport stolen?
