Green energy can’t develop without assistance of conventional power plants because of its intermittence. But casual use of conventional power makes it idle for a long time, so few people are wiling to invest on it. Striking balance between these two powers needs us to find a new approach about how to price energy, because the current price system has been out-of-date. I think green energy can be used in areas in which machines don’t have to run all day or casual lack of electricity will not bring about big problems. In the key areas, green energy can’t be used in come certain seasons when wind or solar power is relatively stable.
