004 It is heart-breaking to think of our long Separation 

--- and I am sure more than punishment enough for all our sins ---

他說現在呢，

兩個人，彼此分開，分別了那麼那麼久，

I am sure more than punishment enough for all our sins

即便過去，

兩人間的戀情是一種原罪，是罪過的話，

那麼，這已經是很多很多極為嚴重的懲罰。

對吧。

Dante is more humane in his “Hell” for he places 

his unfortunate lovers in company

---and though they suffer --- it is at least together.

因為他當時在威尼斯，阿，

所以觸景生情，他想起了義大利的另外一個詩人，

這個詩人叫， Dante，

Dante，這個詩人是誰呀?

有人知道嗎?

就是但丁。

他說，

但丁在感情上，可能會感覺，恩恩，

更能享受很多人間的溫純，

沒有像我們，這麼，這麼痛。

他說呢，

他，在他囚牢一般的所謂地獄中，

待在那兒，幽閉其中，

但是，所幸的是，他的情侶也在裏面呀。

儘管，幽暗，而不見天日，

但是，至少，他們可以在一起。
