1.根据lncRNA与疾病的关系，比如：

CCAT1：Colon

cancerassociated transcript-1；

MIAT：myocardial

infarction associated transcript，也叫RNCR2(retinal non-coding RNA2)；

UCA1：Urothelial

carcinoma associated 1 ,

HULC：Highly

Upregulated in Liver Cancer。

2.根据lncRNA与周围基因的位置，比如：

BACE1-AS：BACE1

antisense RNA；

HIF1A-AS2：LncRNAhypoxiainducible factor1alphaantisenseRNA-2

lincRNAHOTAIR：lincRNAHOXtranscript antisense RNA；

HOTTIP：lncRNA

HOXA transcript at the distal tip (HOTTIP)

而lncRNAasf的命名就直接是调控靶基因Fas的字母反过来。

3.根据lncRNA与基因上下游的调控关系，比如：

BANCR：BRAF-regulatedlncRNA1，

ATB：lncRNA-activated

by TGF-β，

PANDA：P21-associated

noncoding RNA DNA damage-activated。

4.根据lncRNA参与的生物学功能，比如：

LincRNA-ROR：Long

Intergenic Non-Protein Coding RNA, Regulator Of

Reprogramming，

Xist：X-inactive-specific

transcript，

GAS5：growtharrest-specific5。

5.根据在细胞内的定位，比如：

Neat1：LncRNAnuclear-enrichedabundant transcript 1。

当然，这是我们根据现在查到的分子进行总结的，有的就直接使用我们前面提到的ENST，RP等ID来用，也未尝不可。
