据《南华早报》报道，比特币矿机制造商比特大陆不久将迎来一位新的首席执行官。据悉，比特大陆产品工程总监王海超将成为该公司的新领导，但目前还没公布任何官方公告。

The cryptocurrency mining manufacturer Bitmain may have a new chief executive officer in the near future according to South China Morning Post (SCMP). Bitmain’s director of product engineering, Haichao Wang, will apparently take the lead role within the corporation but no official timetable has been announced.

In a recent “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit, Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Goldman Sachs-backed Circle, stated “In my view, crypto is a much more significant and disruptive innovation than the Web, and its impact on society, politics, economics, governance will be far far greater for humanity over time.” When asked about his work at Circle and its “central mission,” Allaire explained that the firm wanted to connect every person to an open financial system enabling it so that one day value can flow as freely as information does today.

Venezuela has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO), claiming that current US sanctions on the country violate a number of WTO rules and regulations. The complaint asserts that the "coercive trade-restrictive measures" placed on Venezuela's national cryptocurrency, the petro, are non-pursuant with the WTO's General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) regulation.

关于如何正确对 ProgPOW 等作出决策的建议。与其依赖那些试图在聊天对话框里解释明白 ProgPOW 的大忙人工程师（这很繁琐也容易分心），然后就响应号召做出决策，我建议：
将这个问题的研究工作交出去（交给那些能够全心全意做研究并有能力研究这个问题的人）、尽可能多地搜集数据和意见、对它进行剖析、查阅相关文献、做些试验、得出结论并发表。
之后，核心开发者们就可以参考这项研究来作决定。这是当人们需要做一些具有高影响力的的决定的时候通常会做的事情。现在行动，为时不晚。
Suggestion on to how to properly deal with a decision such as ProgPOW. Instead of relying on bunch of busy engineers trying to dissect it in a gitter chat (it is a lot of work and distraction), and then decide on a call, I suggested (and still do) to
commission a study (to a person(s) who can do it with their full attention and skill) of this issue, collect as much data and opinions, dissect it, look at the literature, do some scenarios, conclusions, and publish it.
Then, Core Devs can reference this study in their decision. It is a type of thing people regularly do when they need to make high-impact decisions. We still have time for it.

IMO the Ethereum community should consider adopting @zcashco's terminology of calling things like Constantinople "network upgrades" and reserve "fork" for splits that leave 2+ viable chains. Too many people asking me lately where they can dump their non-Constantinople coins...
