Nuke还有个与“核武器”无关的意思

如果你的美国朋友对你说：“I need to nuke some fried chicken!”，你可千万别报警。

这里的nuke是美式口语，表示“用微波炉加热”。所以这位美国人的意思其实是：“我要把炸鸡微波一下！”

据说nuke之所以会有这个意思，源自一种认识上的误解：微波炉刚出现时，美国老百姓都以为微波辐射是核辐射的一种呢。

再来看个例句：
